November 10th (1110) is Picture Me in Computing Day!
We are encouraging participation in Picture Me in Computing Day to show women how possible it is to realize a highly rewarding career in computer science and IT. If you support the idea that women have an important role to play in technology-based professions, upload a picture of yourself with technology to Picasa, Flickr, Twitter, Google Plus or Facebook with the #picmecomp tag. You can also join in by tagging all of your interactions on social networking sites (especially Facebook and Twitter) with #picmecomp to show the other face of computer science — the smart, resourceful, ingenious female face of computing.
Are you a gentleman that supports women in computer science? We support you and are glad to know that you support us, too! To show the world just how important diversity is in computer science, please show your support in the same way as the women will.
